WHAT I DO

Julie is a visual artist living in Colorado.

Her style of painting is simple; she embraces color and simple, bold images. As a lover of people and animals of all kinds and paints them with happiness. Julie has been painting with happiness since she was a young girl, growing up in northern Illinois. Discovering watercolor in her early adulthood started her artistic journery. Moving to Colorado later in life has opened a world filled with new opportunities to hone her style.

Julie teaches watercolor in the Vail Valley and on Colorado’s Western Slope. She is honored to have her work chosen to be featured on the 2024 Palisade Colorado Peach Festival poster.
